Effective date: June 6, 2026. Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully. By checking the acceptance box, completing payment, or using the service, you ("you," the "Parent") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not enroll or use the service.
Lyceum Mundi ("Lyceum Mundi," "we," "us," or "our") is an online classical home-education program for students in grades 6–12, provided by Sundance Associates, LLC. Lyceum Mundi furnishes curriculum, AI-assisted instruction and tutoring, record-keeping tools, and related materials. Lyceum Mundi is not an accredited school, does not confer diplomas or grades of record, and does not act as the educator of legal record. Under Florida law (Fla. Stat. §1002.41), home education is directed by the parent; you remain the home educator of record and are solely responsible for your child's education and for compliance with all applicable laws.
The program is offered for students in grades 6 through 12. You represent that you are at least 18 years old, are the parent or legal guardian of each enrolled student, and have authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of your family.
Some coursework — including, in particular, science laboratory activities — may call for materials, kits, equipment, books, or third-party tools that are not included in your subscription and that you may need to purchase separately, at your own expense, from third parties. We do not supply these physical materials. We strive to offer free alternatives available on the internet (such as virtual or simulated labs and public-domain texts) wherever suitable ones exist, but we do not guarantee that a free alternative will be available for every activity.
Laboratory and hands-on safety is your responsibility. You are solely responsible for selecting, purchasing, supervising, and conducting any hands-on experiment or laboratory activity and for the safety of your child and household. We are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage arising from at-home lab or hands-on activities or from third-party materials, kits, content, websites, or services.
The subscription is billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, at the rates published on our pricing page (currently $450/month for the first child, $350 for the second, and $300 for each additional child), with the annual Florida-certified evaluation included at no extra charge. The subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard; access continues through the end of the paid period. A 30-day money-back guarantee applies to your first payment as described on our pricing page. We may change prices on prospective notice.
All content, curriculum, software, text, graphics, designs, and other materials made available through Lyceum Mundi are owned by Sundance Associates, LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the service solely for the home education of your own enrolled child(ren).
You may not, and may not permit others to: copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, publicly display, sell, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service or its content; reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of any software; circumvent or disable any security or access control; scrape, harvest, or use automated means to extract content; or create derivative works from the service or its content. Sharing of accounts or credentials outside your immediate family is prohibited.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Nothing on the service is legal advice. We do not guarantee any particular educational outcome, test score, grade, course credit, university admission, or scholarship eligibility (including Bright Futures); those are determined by third parties and governmental bodies on their own criteria.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sundance Associates, LLC, and its members, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or educational opportunity, arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service, whether based in contract, tort, or any other theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any and all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will not exceed the amount you actually paid to us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sundance Associates, LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the service, your child's use of the service, your role as home educator, any hands-on or laboratory activity, your purchase or use of third-party materials, or your breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and Sundance Associates, LLC agree that the exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any dispute, claim, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will lie in the state and federal courts located in Broward County, Florida. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection to venue or any claim of inconvenient forum.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide notice. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We collect and use the information you and your child provide to deliver and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information. Because Lyceum Mundi is not a school, FERPA does not govern our records; nonetheless we take reasonable measures to protect student and family data.
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Sundance Associates, LLC regarding the service and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
