Privacy Policy — Lyceum Mundi

Effective date: June 6, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Sundance Associates, LLC ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Lyceum Mundi website and service. By using the service you agree to this Policy, which forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

1. Information we collect

Account & contact information you provide: parent/guardian name, email address, mailing address, and phone number(s).
Student information you provide as the home educator: the student's name, age, grade, academic goals, strengths and challenges, any accommodations, county Notice-of-Intent details (e.g., student name and number), and documents you upload such as transcripts.
Educational records generated through use: coursework, notebooks, assessments, progress, reading logs, service hours, and messages.
Payment information: processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not collect or store full card numbers.
Technical & usage data: log information, device/browser details, and an essential cookie used to keep you signed in.

2. How we use information

To provide, personalize, and improve the service, including assigning each student an AI faculty and building the §1002.41 portfolio of records.
To process tuition payments and manage your subscription (through Stripe).
To communicate with you about enrollment, your child's curriculum, support, and important notices.
To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable law.

3. Children's privacy

Lyceum Mundi serves students in grades 6–12, who are minors. The service is used under the direction of the parent or guardian, who provides the student's information and consents to its collection and use as part of enrolling and directing the child's home education. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child except as provided or authorized by that child's parent or guardian. Parents may review, correct, or request deletion of their child's information as described below.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the service:

With service providers that help us run Lyceum Mundi — for example, payment processing (Stripe), cloud hosting and database services, file storage, and email delivery — under agreements that limit their use of the information.
With a Florida-certified evaluator, at your direction, to complete your annual evaluation.
When required to comply with law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our families, the public, or us.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, support your records, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your information; we will honor such requests subject to limitations the law allows. Note that Florida home-education law asks you to retain certain records for two years — we help you keep and export them.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices & rights

You can review and update much of your information from your dashboard and Account page, change your communication preferences, and cancel your subscription at any time. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, contact us at the address below.

8. Third-party materials & links

Some coursework references third-party materials, tools, or websites (for example, lab kits or virtual-lab platforms). Those third parties have their own privacy practices, which we do not control and are not responsible for.

9. Where information is processed

We are based in Florida, USA, and also maintain a support office in Manila, Philippines. Your information may be processed or accessed in these locations and by our service providers.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide notice. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

11. Governing law

This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, consistent with the governing-law and venue provisions of our Terms & Conditions.
